2013: When History Was Made
Featuring in-depth interviews with the likes of then-manager Phil Parkinson and assistant Steve Parkin, captain Gary Jones, and key players including Rory McArdle, James Hanson, Nahki Wells and more, '2013: When History Was Made' is a feature-length documentary telling the story of Bradford City's unforgettable, history-making 2012/13 season.
Through 106 minutes, the production recounts key moments from throughout the campaign, including a section on each round of the League Cup campaign, where the Bantams became only the second-ever fourth-tier side to reach the final at Wembley Stadium.
The documentary then goes on to review the final few months of the League Two term, where City surged towards the play-offs, eventually securing promotion to League One with a 3-0 victory over Northampton Town, on their second visit to the national stadium in just three months.
Having first been premiered at the Pictureville Cinema, Bradford, in July 2023, the documentary is now available for rental exclusively on Vimeo, with proceeds to be donated to the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, set up by City legend and key member of the 2012/13 squad Stephen Darby, following his motor neurone disease diagnosis in 2018.
So, sit back, relax and enjoy looking back on some incredible memories.
